Scott Kozak
Vice President, Life Sciences

Scott is a seasoned general manager with extensive international sales, service and operations experience. He has led business development organizations at IBM, Teradyne and Universal Instruments Corporation and was most recently Chief Operating Officer for ENS Inc. a nanotechnology company focused on accelerating drug discovery and process optimization. His accomplishments include turning a money-losing division into the most profitable P&L in a fortune 1000 company, doubling Asian market share and increasing revenue to $150 million, restructuring global service organizations to deliver profitable end-to-end production solutions and leading business operations for a life science start-up from proof-of-concept to first revenue and a $10 million valuation.

A Six-Sigma Black Belt, Scott brings cross-functional expertise and international business acumen to North American clients to help refine and deploy their global expansion strategies. Scott earned a BS in Biology from Bucknell University and is a graduate of the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.

Dara Kahn
Business Development Executive

Dara Kahn holds a CGBP-Global Business Professional certification designated by   NASBITE and is currently serving a post for the UK Government as a Business Development Executive for the North of England Inward Investment Agency.

Prior to joining the NOE, Dara was a representative within the Life Science's industry for PerkinElmer's ViaCord Division-working with expectant parents and families with children afflicted by a range of diseases including Diabetes, Sickle Cell Anemia, and varying forms of cancer. ViaCord's primary business model is Umbilical Cord Blood Banking (Stem Cell) and Servicing.

Dara also served for 8 years in varying roles of Finance and Credit and held the position of Credit & Finance Manager for the 8th largest Independent Distributor of Semiconductors within the Electronic Components Industry. She has worked extensively with some of the world's largest Telecom's including Motorola, Nokia, Alcatel and Nortel. She has also has worked with some of the world's largest Tier I, II, & III suppliers spanning sectors from Defense to Medical Devices and beyond.

Dara is currently pursuing her academic endeavors at Salem State University in the studies of Accounting/Finance and International Business.
